(ASSOCIATION OF DIPLOMATIC SPOUSES) MEXICO GALA DINNER
On 18 November, the Mexico City ACD hosted a successful Gala Dinner to raise funds for the needy at the La Marquis Hotel, Mexico City with the presence of close to 500 guests comprising top government officials, captains of industry and members of diplomatic corps as well as media representatives.
The President of PERWAKILAN Mexico City - Madam Amelia Azhar and the Ambassador participated in the event. The Malaysian Embassy contributed an oil painting of PETRONAS Twin Towers - painted by Atiff Azhar, a framed traditional Malay silver broach and KL Tower desk clock for the lucky draw as well as Malaysian food - fried rice, fried noddles and cakes for the Gala Dinner.
