Ambassador Jamal Sharfuddin Johan joined other ambassadors residing in Mexico City in a meeting with the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, H.E. Juan Ramon de la Fuente. The meeting was held on Thursday, 24 October 2024, at 6.00 pm at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico. This was the first meeting by the newly appointed Secretary of Foreign Affairs with the diplomatic corps. 112 ambassadors/charge dáffaires or representatives of international organisations attended the briefing. From the Mexican side, all director generals and undersecretaries were present headed by H.E. Maria Teresa Mercado Perez, Deputy Secretary of Foreign Affairs (Deputy Foreign Minister).
