CALL ON THE AMBASSADOR BY THE INTERNATIONAL
VICE CHAIRMAN OF MEXICAN BUSINESS COUNCIL FOR FOREIGN TRADE
INVESTMENT AND TECHNOLOGY (COMCE)
On 28 June 2016, Mr. Jorge Lopez Morton, International Vice Chairman of COMCE, accompanied by Mr. Kevin Ceballos, International Executive of COMCE called on HE Ambassador Mohammad Azhar Mazlan at the Chancery. Also present were Mr. Mohd. Hafiz Abdul Jalil, Trade Commissioner Mexico City and Ms. Bieyka Jimenez Quezada, Marketing Officer MATRADE Mexico City.
The purpose of his call was to discuss and touch base with the Ambassador on the global halal industry. The former was keen to learn from Malaysia`s experience in the halal sector as a niche industry. Mexican is embarking on its own halal industry blue print which is at a nascent stage.
