Madame Amelia Azhar hosted a Coffee Morning for the ASOCIACION DE CONYUGES Mexico at Rumah Malaysia on 24 August 2017. Thirty seven (37) members of ASOCIACION DE CONYUGES Mexico were present including the President of ASOCIACION DE CONYUGES Mexico, wife of the Australian Ambassador to Mexico. Present were spouses of Ambassadors and Heads of Mission based in Mexico City who made up the ASOCIACION DE CONYUGES Mexico. Present also were Amb. Mireya Teran of the Ministry of External Relations, Mexico Coordinator for Diplomatic Corps as well as Mdm. Adriana Salinas, sister of former President of Mexico. Based on the feedbacks and number of attendees, the event was a success in promoting and showcasing Malaysia as well as its cuisine namely nasi lemak, rendang ayam, mee hoon goreng and karipap as well as kuih lapis.
