COURTESY CALL BY THE PRESIDENT OF MEXICO-MALAYSIA FRIENDSHIP GROUP OF THE CHAMBER OF DEPUTIES (PARLIAMENT) MEXICO

On 7^th September 2016, Lic. Luis de Leon Martinez Sanchez, Federal Deputy (member of the Mexican Parliament) from the National Action Party (PAN), accompanied by Lic. Miguel Angel Sanchez and Lic. Miguel Wilmer Ramirez, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, Ambassador of Malaysia to Mexico. Lic. Sanchez was recently appointed as the President of the Mexico-Malaysia Friendship Group of the Mexican Parliament.

The objective of the Group was to bring closer inter-parliamentary relations of the two countries.  The members of the Group are:

Apart from touching base, the purpose of the call was to debrief the Ambassador about the establishment of the new friendship group between Mexico-Malaysia under the Mexican Parliament to be officially inaugurated at the Mexican Parliament on 14 September 2016.
