On 28 September 2016, Ambassador Mohammad Azhar Mazlan met Dr. Benito Miron Lopez, Director General International Relations, Ministry of Education Mexico at the latter`s office. The purpose of the meeting was for the preparations of the incoming working visit by the Honorable Dato’ Seri Idris Jusoh, Minister of Higher Education, Malaysia to the 24th International Association of Volunteer Effort (IAVE) World Volunteer Conference in Mexico City in November 2016.
Beside attending the four-day international conference, the minister is scheduled to meet his Mexican counterpart, as well as visiting Mexico´s premier university. During the forty-five-minute discussion, Dr. Miron also updated the Ambassador on Mexico´s Education Reform while the latter apprised him about the state of education in Malaysia.
