On 22nd August 2017, Madame Ana Maria de Los Angeles Diaz de Pineda, President of the Amor Por Los Nuestros Foundation and Mr. Diego Colomer called on the Ambassador and his spouse, Madame Amelia Azhar at the Chancery. The meeting was to debrief the latter about the humanitarian activities carried out by the Foundation to assist migrants in Mexico City by providing shelters to them on compassionate grounds. The Foundation, a registered NGO in Mexico, is headed by Madame Ana Maria, who is the wife of the Ambassador of El Salvador to Mexico.
