On 14 March 2019, TYT Ambassador Muzafar Shah Mustafa led the Embassy of Malaysia’s delegation (including from MATRADE office in Mexico City) in undertaking a courtesy visit on Mr. Jesus Antonio Esteva, Secretary of Public Works and Services, Mexico City (CDMX). The purpose of the visit was to understand the blueprint of public works and services in Mexico City under the new administration as well as to explore possible cooperation and opportunities for Malaysian companies to invest or to bid for the available works under the jurisdiction of the Secretariat of Public Works and Services in CDMX.
The Meeting was fruitful in terms of understanding current and future projects in CDMX. Based on the Meeting, there was also rooms for future cooperation or joint-venture between Malaysian companies and the local Mexican companies. Toward this end, our MATRADE office in Mexico City would engage with local players in Mexico City to explore future business opportunities for Malaysian companies here in Mexico, especially in CDMX.
