DISCOVERY NETWORK LATIN AMERICA / US HISPANIC
On 10 March 2016, Ambassador Mohammad Azhar bin Mazlan accompanied by Mr. Mohd Hafiz Abdul Jalil, Trade Commissioner of Malaysia to Mexico visited the Discovery Networks` Mexico Office, to touch base with Mr. Gerardo Lopez Gallo Dey, Vice President of Contents of Discovery Network.
During the meeting Mr. López shared his office´s mission in Mexico, among others, to enhance social responsibility and to raise people awareness of what is going on in Mexico. In this connection, his office has worked on several Mexican history programmes. Ambassador Azhar expressed the Embassy´s intentions to establish working relations with media outlet in Mexico and to promote Malaysia in Mexico and vice versa.
