On 1st September (10th Zulhijjah 1438), after the prayers Madam Amelia Azhar and the Ambassador as well as their children hosted the Hari Raya Qurban Gathering at Rumah Malaysia. Present were the Home-based Staff of the Embassy and family members as well as PETRONAS officials. Raya gathering far away from home was meaningful with fellow Malaysians albeit its small and modest scale. The quintessential Malaysian cuisines were served such as nasi minyak, rendang ayam, dhalca, sambal taufu, mee sup ayam, karipap, agar-agar, muruku and tropical fruits much to the delight of the guests.
