On 1st July 2025, the Embassy of Malaysia, Mexico City held a farewell reception in honour of Mr. Hardi Hamdin, Minister Counsellor, and to welcome his successor, Mr. Jesse Quiban.
The event, attended by officers and staff of the Embassy, was graced by H.E. Ambassador Jamal Sharifuddin. In his remarks, H.E. conveyed his gratitude to Mr. Hardi for his dedicated service and commended his successful completion of tenure in Mexico City.
H.E. Ambassador Jamal also took the opportunity to welcome Mr. Jesse to the Embassy and expressed confidence in his capabilities. He called on all staff to render their full cooperation to ensure a smooth transition and continued excellence in service. He emphasized the importance of teamwork, unity and a positive work culture in collectively advancing Malaysia’s image and profile in Mexico City.
The Embassy extends its best wishes to Mr. Hardi in his future endeavors and warmly welcomes Mr. Jesse into his new role in Mexico City.
