The Embassy of Malaysia in Mexico participated in the Feria de las Culturas Amigas or Fair of the Friendly Cultures in México City from 25 May – 9 June 2013 with the theme ‘The World in Your City’. The event was organised by the government of the México City and took place along Paseo de la Reforma, the main avenue in México City. The participation increased this year with 86 embassies and international organisations accredited to México. The Embassy of Malaysia participated in the opening ceremony and also tourism displays and food sale in the designated booth, which received very good response from the crowd. It was estimated that more than 1.5 million visitors visited the various booths at the event.
