H.E. Jamal Sharifuddin Johan received on H.E. M.Mushfiqul Fazal (Ansarey), Ambassador of Bangladesh to Mexico, at the Embassy on 10 February 2025.
Both ambassadors had a fruitful discussion on Bilateral relations between Malaysia and Bangladesh are characterized by strong diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties. These two countries maintain positive relations, primarily driven by shared interests in trade, labour migration, education, and regional security.
Malaysia sincerely hopes bilateral relations strong, there are occasional challenges, especially related to the treatment of migrant workers and ensuring fair labour rights. However, there are still great opportunities for enhancing cooperation in areas like digital technology, sustainable development, and increasing bilateral trade.
