The Embassy of Malaysia in Mexico City wishes to express our deepest appreciation to all members of the diplomatic corps and friends of Malaysia, who visited the Embassy to sign the Book of Condolence following the passing of Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the 5th Prime Minister of Malaysia.
Your presence, kind words, and messages of sympathy have deeply touched us and are a testament to the high regard and respect Tun Abdullah commanded, not only in Malaysia but also among our friends and partners around the world.
Tun Abdullah, fondly known as “Pak Lah,” led Malaysia with humility, wisdom, and a steady hand. His leadership was marked by a deep commitment to peace, good governance, and interfaith harmony. He will be remembered for his reformist vision, his soft-spoken strength, and his unwavering dedication to the betterment of all Malaysians.
As we honour his legacy and the values he stood for, let us come together in prayer for the late Tun Abdullah. May Allah SWT grant him forgiveness, mercy, and the highest place in Jannah.
