The Embassy of Malaysia in Mexico City participated in the ‘Intercultural Fashion Show of Regional Costumes of the Indigenous Communities of Mexico and Communities of Different National Origin’ organized by the Secretariat of Rural Development and Equality of Mexico (SEDEREC) on 12 August 2011 in Mexico City. Children of the Home Based Staff of the Embassy took part in promoting Malaysia in the event by showcasing Malaysian traditional costumes such as ‘Baju Kebaya’, ‘Baju Melayu’, ‘Baju Minangkabau’ and ‘Baju Kadazan’.
