INTERNATIONALISATION OF PLAN MEXICO

On 30 April 2025, Mr. Hardi Hamdin, Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of Malaysia in Mexico, attended an important event hosted by the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs (SRE), where Foreign Secretary Juan Ramón de la Fuente and Secretary of Economy Marcelo Ebrard presented "Plan Mexico" to the diplomatic community. This ambitious initiative focuses on enhancing Mexico's foreign policy and strengthening its global economic presence through strategic partnerships, trade expansion, and improved international collaboration.
The plan highlights Mexico's commitment to increase foreign investment, boosting international trade relations, and fostering sustainable development through innovative diplomacy. Secretary de la Fuente emphasized that Plan Mexico is not just a roadmap for economic growth, but also a vision for greater cultural exchange and cooperation with nations worldwide.
We thank Foreign Secretary Juan Ramón de la Fuente and Economy Secretary Marcelo Ebrard for their leadership in unveiling Plan Mexico, and the Embassy of Malaysia is eager to contribute to its success.
