MALAYSIA AT THE 50TH INTERNATIONAL SPRING COLLOQUIUM GRACIELA ARROYO PICHARDO

Ambassador Jamal Sharifuddin Johan had the honour of representing Malaysia as a speaker at the 50th edition of the International Spring Colloquium Graciela Arroyo Pichardo, held on 19 June 2025.
Speaking on the theme of multilateralism and global governance, Ambassador Jamal addressed the urgent need for a more responsive and inclusive international order—especially in light of current global challenges such as the escalating humanitarian crisis in the Middle East and the ongoing debate on United Nations reform.
Ambassador Jamal also called for renewed commitment to multilateral principles that prioritise diplomacy, sustainable development, and a rules-based international system.
The event brought together diplomats, academicians, and students, offering a valuable platform for honest reflection and collaborative dialogue. The Embassy extends its appreciation to the organisers for the kind invitation and congratulates them on the golden anniversary of this distinguished academic tradition.
