Malaysia Participates in Diplomatic Briefing on Costa Rican Foreign Policy

The Embassy of Malaysia in Mexico is pleased to share that His Excellency Ambassador Jamal Sharifuddin bin Johan participated in a high-level diplomatic meeting hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Costa Rica on Thursday, 22 May 2025.
The meeting, chaired by H.E. Ambassador Alejandro Solano Ortiz, Vice Minister of Multilateral Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Costa Rica, brought together Ambassadors accredited to Mexico and concurrently accredited to Costa Rica to discuss current and evolving matters related to Costa Rica’s foreign policy priorities and multilateral engagements.
Held in a spirit of mutual respect and international cooperation, the session offered valuable insights into Costa Rica's global outlook and its role in promoting multilateral diplomacy, sustainable development, and human rights.
Ambassador Jamal reaffirmed Malaysia’s commitment to constructive dialogue and cooperation with Costa Rica, and expressed appreciation for Costa Rica’s consistent engagement with the diplomatic corps in Mexico.
The Embassy looks forward to further strengthening bilateral and multilateral collaboration with Costa Rica in areas of shared interest and global significance.
