Malaysia Showcases Smart City Innovations at SMART CITY EXPO LATAM 2025, Puebla

Ambassador Jamal Sharifuddin Johan attended the Opening Ceremony of SMART CITY EXPO LATAM 2025 held in Puebla City, one of Latin America's premier platforms for smart urban innovation and sustainable development.
Malaysia was proudly represented by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), which actively participated in the event and hosted a booth showcasing Malaysia’s progress in smart city solutions, digital economy, and tech innovation.

Representatives from Fira Barcelona, organiser of the Smart City Expo series
Malaysia will host the Smart City Expo Kuala Lumpur from 17 to 19 September 2025, organised by MDEC in collaboration with Fira Barcelona. The event will be a major platform for stakeholders around the world to exchange best practices, explore partnerships, and shape the future of smart and sustainable cities.
