MEETING BETWEEN THE SECRETARY GENERAL OF ASEAN AND FOREIGN MINISTER

Secretary General of ASEAN, H.E. Dr. Kao Kim Hourn met with Foreign Minister Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan on 20 March 2025.
The discussion focused on Malaysia’s commitment to a successful ASEAN Chairmanship and preparation for the 46th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, scheduled for 26 – 27 May 2025. Additionally, the meeting also addressed Timor-Leste's accession to ASEAN, ASEAN's external relations and the latest developments regarding the ASEAN Community Vision 2045 (ACV 2045), which will be signed during the 46th ASEAN Summit.
