MEETING OF COUNCIL OF OIC AMBASSADORS MEXICO
On 25 November, H.E. Ambassador Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, Ambassador of Malaysia to Mexico attended the Meeting of Council of OIC Ambassadors based in Mexico City hosted by the Charge d` Affaires a.i of the Republic of Iraq at the latter`s chancery. Present were Ambassadors of Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Libya, Morocco, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Charge d` Affaires a.i. of Azerbaijan, Jordan and Nigeria.
The Meeting, chaired by the Dean of OIC Ambassadors - Ambassador of Egypt to Mexico discussed, among others, Palestinian relations with the host government; Mexican halal certification; the progress of Muslim cemetery in the State of Mexico as well as the issue of Rohingya.
