MEETING OF THE ORGANIZATION OF ISLAMIC COOPERATION (OIC) AMBASSADORS, MEXICO CITY
On 30 June 2016, the Ambassadors of OIC based in Mexico City met at the Cote d`Ivoire Residence for a scheduled meeting. Malaysia was represented by H.E. Ambassador Mohammad Azhar Mazlan. The meeting was chaired by H.E. Mr. Sameeh Essa Johar Hayat, Kuwait Ambassador and Dean of the OIC group in Mexico City.
The meeting, among others, discussed important issues to the Muslim community in Mexico, i.e. to have a proper Muslim burial ground-cemetery and organize the group`s meeting with the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of Mexico in August 2016.
