MEETING WITH THE CHAIR OF THE EXTRACTIVE INDUSTRIES TRANSPARENCY INITIATIVES (EITI)

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a meeting with H.E. Helen Clark, Chair of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI), on 10 April 2025 at Wisma Putra to exchange views on the works of EITI. Also present were officials from the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, the Department of Standards Malaysia, and the Department of Statistics Malaysia.
EITI is a global standard, aim at promoting good governance of oil, gas and minerals resources.
