NATIONAL SPORTS DAY
In conjunction with the National Sports Day which was celebrated in Malaysia on 10th October 2015, the Embassy of Malaysia in Mexico City organised a sporting event at the Embassy. The program officiated by Ambassador Mohammad Azhar Mazlan saw the participation of 40 Malaysians and family members residing in Mexico together with the staff members of the Embassy as well as MATRADE staff. A number of activities were lined up such as Zumba dance, health talk, sepak takraw, pingpong and badminton.
A former Mexican basketball couch was invited to impart her knowledge as she led the Zumba dance followed by the health talk. After the strenuous activities, participants enjoyed a brunch prepared by the ladies of the PERWAKILAN.
The half-day program was a success drawing from positive comments and feedbacks received from the participants. Evidently, such activity provided an excellent avenue for the participants to touch base and network with one another.
