New Ambassador of Malaysia delivered his credentials

 

With Mexico, relationship beyond judged narcos

After delivering his accreditation to President Peña, Mohammad Azhar says that the brothers González Villarreal had a fair trial 

 

President Peña Nieto yesterday received the credentials of ambassadors of 19 countries, including the Ambassador of Malaysia, Mohammad Azhar, who ruled out that the sentencing to death of three Mexicans for drug trafficking in that country will damage the relationship between the two Nations.

 

He recalled that the sinaloan José Regino, Simon and Luis Alfonso González Villarreal, sentenced to death in 2012, was entitled to a trial fair and that their case is now being analyzed by the Clemency Board, "it will continue its route, and we'll see what happens," and stressed that both Nations continue the dialogue through the ministries of Foreign Affairs.

On the same subject, the Ambassador of Honduras, Alden Rivera said there is not a stance of his Government, but considered that his country will be "always on the side of Mexico".

 

As for the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Andrian Yelemessov, stressed that while other countries close their diplomatic headquarters because of the crisis, that nation opened its first diplomatic office in our country.

 

The ambassadors of Israel, Qatar, Palestine, Finland, Brazil, Georgia, El Salvador, Venezuela, Portugal, Australia, Honduras, Peru, Colombia, Philippines and India, also presented their credentials.
