ORGANIZATION OF ISLAMIC CONFERENCE (OIC) AMBASSADORS MEETING
On 24 October 2016, the Mexico City-based OIC Ambassadors held a meeting at the Ambassador of Indonesia’s Official Residence. The meeting was chaired by the Egyptian Ambassador to Mexico in his capacity as the Dean of the Group. Among others the agenda were UNESCO Resolution on the Israel sites of East Jerusalem as Humanity Heritage of the Islamic Civilization, preparation of the meeting with Mexico`s Head of Senate and Head of the Chamber of Deputies, the progress on the Muslim cemetery development in the state of Mexico as well as Mexico`s halal meat certification. H.E. Ambassador Mohammad Azhar Mazlan was present with the other twelve (12) heads of mission, namely Algeria, Azerbaijan, Cote d`Ivoire, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Pakistan, Palestine and Turkey.
