OUTREACH PROGRAM AT UNAM

Ambassador Mohammad Azhar Mazlan made a presentation entitled `Culture, Society and International Presence of Malaysia` at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) to the students and staff members of the Faculty of Political and Social Science on 3 May 2016.
The presentation, moderated by Ambassador Pedro Gonzalez-Rubio S, Head of the Fernando Solana`s Talk, Secretariat of External Relations (SRE) – UNAM, was preceded with a brief talk by Ms. Daisy Ariana Robles, former participant of the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP) and Ms. Lani Mireya of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Mobility Program. The two Mexican participants shared with the audience their positive and enriching experiences while undergoing short course in Malaysia. A display of places of interest in Malaysia was also held at the entrance of the auditorium.
The presentation at UNAM has been a success in making Malaysia more visible in Mexico. At the end of the presentation, the UNAM students/staff members of 150 were opportuned to savour the all-time Malaysian favorite dish – nasi lemak.
