H.E. Dato’ Jamaiyah Mohamed Yusof presented her Letters of Credence to H.E. Álvaro Colom Caballeros, President of Guatemala on 23 November 2011. H.E. Dato’ Jamaiyah was accompanied by Ms. Salfarina Salim, Second Secretary of the Embassy and Dr. Alfredo Chinchilla Godoy, Honorary Consul of Malaysia in Guatemala during the ceremony. The ceremony took place at Palacio Nacional de la Cultura in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Ambassadors of Georgia, Republic of Korea, Thailand and Vietnam also presented their credentials on that day.
