The Embassy of Malaysia in Mexico City is pleased to share that preparations are well underway for our upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House! The Embassy team has been working diligently to ensure a warm and festive celebration that reflects the rich cultural traditions of Malaysia.
In Malaysia, the Raya Open House is a cherished tradition where families, friends, and even strangers are welcomed into homes to celebrate Eid al-Fitr with open hearts. It is a time of joy, unity, and generosity, marked by the sharing of delicious traditional dishes such as rendang, satay, ketupat, and various kuih-muih (traditional sweets). The Open House embodies the Malaysian spirit of togetherness and inclusivity, bringing people of all backgrounds together in celebration.
