Schools must always remain safe spaces where children can learn, grow and dream without fear.
They embody hope, opportunity and a brighter future and any attack on them is an attack on that hope itself.
Education is a fundamental right that must be safeguarded at all costs, no child or teacher should ever be placed in danger simply for being in a place of learning.
We must stand firm in ensuring that schools remain protected and free from conflict. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with the victims’ families and all those affected by this tragedy.
