THE AMBASSADOR CALLS ON THE NEW DIRECTOR GENERAL
OF PROTOCOL MEXICO
On 9 June 2016, H.E. Ambassador Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, Malaysian Ambassador to Mexico called on H.E. Ambassador Juan Carlos Lara Armienta, the new Director General of Protocol, Mexico at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mexico (SRE). Present during the call were H.E. Ambassador Alejandra Bologna Zubikarai, Deputy Director General Protocol, Foreign Missions, SRE and Mr. Khornelisman Jasri, Second Secretary of the Embassy.
Both sides, inter-alia, discussed issues of common interest on bilateral and protocol matters. Ambassador Mohammad Azhar Mazlan took the opportunity to reiterate the invitation by the Hon. Dato` Sri Mohd Najib Tun Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia to H.E. Enrique Pena Nieto, President of the United Mexican States to participate in the International Conference on Blue Ocean Strategy scheduled to be hosted by Malaysia from 16 to 18 August 2016. This was preceded by the former extending his congratulations to the new Director General of Protocol on his important appointment.
