The Ambassador of Malaysia accredited to Belize presented copies of his letters of credence to Her Excellency Dame Froyla Tzalam, the Governor General of Belize, on 17 June 2024. Prior to the Presentation of Credentials ceremony, the Ambassador had a brief conversation with the His Excellency Francis Fonseca, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade. Both sides exchanged ideas on potential areas of cooperation to further strengthen Malaysia-Belize relations. Other Ambassadors that presented their credentials were H.E. Mr. Nikolaos Kotrokois, Ambassador of Greece, and H.E. Adli Qasem Mohammad Alkhaledi, Ambassador of Jordan.
