 THE OPENING OF NEW VIETNAMESE TRADE OFFICE IN MEXICO CITY

 

 

 

On 16 June 2016, H.E. Ambassador Mohammad Azhar Mazlan attended the opening of the new Trade Office of Vietnam along with the members of the diplomatic corps based in Mexico City, as well as local government officials and captains of industry.  The Hon. Virgilio Andrade Martinez, Minister of Public Function Mexico was the guest of honour.  The office has been relocated to a more strategic area in Masaryk – Polanco, Mexico City.  H.E. Dr. Le Linh Lan, Ambassador of Vietnam to Mexico officiated the ceremony with welcoming remarks followed by H.E. Ambassador Sergio Ley Lopez, President of the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology, Mexico (COMCE).

 

Currently, there are 5 trade offices in Mexico City from the ASEAN member states namely: Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
