THE SIGNING CEREMONY OF THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN MEXICO
AND THE UNHRC
On 22 February, the diplomatic corps based in Mexico City, including H.E. Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, Ambassador of Malaysia to Mexico witnessed the signing ceremony of the Agreement between Mexico and the Office of the High Commissioner of the United Nations Human Rights Council on the implementation of its activities in Mexico. Present also were members of the Senate of Mexico and representatives of civil societies as well as members of the media.
H.E. Dr. Luis Videgaray Caso, Secretary of External Relations, Mexico signed the document on behalf of the Mexican government while Mr. Jan Jarab, High Commissioner of the United Nations for the Human Rights for the United Nations Human Rights Council.
