On 5 August 2020, TYT Ambassador Muzafar Shah Mustafa, the Ambassador of Malaysia in Mexico, accredited to Honduras presented his copies of the Letters of Credence to His Excellency Luis Carlos Chavarria Reyes, Director of Protocol and State Diplomatic Ceremonial in the Secretariat of Foreign Relations and International Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Honduras via a virtual ceremony from the capital of Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
The Director of Protocol and State Diplomatic Ceremonial also informed that the ceremony of the presentation of the Letters of Credence to the President of Honduras will take place in the near future via a virtual telecast.
During the ceremonies, both His Excellencies discussed on the strengthening of the bilateral relations between Malaysia and Honduras.
