The High Commission of Malaysia in Windhoek had the pleasure of meeting with the c on 19 February 2026 in Windhoek, on the sidelines of the Joint Commission of Cooperation between Namibia and the Republic of Congo.
The meeting reaffirmed the cordial relations between Malaysia and the Republic of Congo since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 2001, and provided an opportunity to exchange views on further strengthening cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, education, and capacity building.
Malaysia also highlighted its continued commitment to South–South cooperation, including through the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP), which offers training and knowledge-sharing opportunities for partner countries.
Both sides expressed their interest in enhancing bilateral engagement and exploring new avenues of collaboration that would contribute to mutual development and closer people-to-people ties between Malaysia and the Republic of Congo.
The meeting was also aired on the ROC national television during prime time news.
