On 6 February 2026, His Excellency Ambassador Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, attended the launching ceremony of ZUS Coffee, a Malaysian specialty coffee brand, in Islamabad as Guest of Honour, marking the brand’s formal entry into the Pakistani market.
Founded in Malaysia, ZUS Coffee is widely recognised for its modern café concept and its commitment to offering high-quality coffee at affordable prices. The launch of its first operational outlet in Islamabad reflects the growing interest of Malaysian companies in Pakistan’s expanding urban consumer market and highlights confidence in the country’s retail and services sector.
In his remarks, the High Commissioner welcomed ZUS Coffee’s expansion into Pakistan and encouraged the Pakistani public to visit and experience this “Made in Malaysia” brand, which represents Malaysia’s creativity, quality, and entrepreneurial spirit. He noted that such ventures contribute positively to Malaysia–Pakistan economic engagement, particularly in retail, franchising, and services.
The entry of ZUS Coffee into Pakistan also strengthens people-to-people and business-to-business linkages, supports local employment, and contributes to the diversification of Pakistan’s hospitality landscape.
