The 2nd Pakistan International Travel, Tourism & Investment Expo took place on Thursday, 26 September 2024, at the Best Western Premier Hotel, bringing together key figures from the tourism and investment industries. A key highlight of the event was the involvement of the High Commission of Malaysia Islamabad, represented by PERWAKILAN (Ladies Association). Malaysia opened a booth showcasing popular tourism destinations, such as Cameron Highlands, Pulau Redang, Gunung Kinabalu, and many more. The booth attracted more than 800 visitors, who were also treated to karipap, a traditional Malaysian pastry filled with spiced potatoes, offering them a taste of Malaysia's rich culinary heritage.
Key activities of the day included panel discussions, exhibitions featuring the latest tourism projects, and an exclusive investor connect session. The event concluded with a gala dinner where participants celebrated the progress and future prospects of Pakistan’s tourism industry, along with an award ceremony.
