On Tuesday, 26 September 2023, Ambassador Azhar attended the High Achievers Ceremony & Students Recognition Day at Marriott Hotel, Islamabad as guest of honour. The ceremony was organised by Roots International Schools & Colleges (RISC) and Metropolitan International United College (MIUC) for their new graduates. Federal Minister for Interior & Narcotics Control, Mr. Sarfaraz Ahmad Bugti was the Chief Guest of Honour. Also present were Heads of Mission from Bulgaria, Ethiopia, Tajikistan, representatives from British Council and German Embassy as well as institutions of higher learning.
The event marked another successful year for Roots International Schools & Colleges with 1,000 students passing out with flying colours. The students received their certificates upon completion of exams, i.e. O levels, A levels, University of London LLB, Higher National Diploma (HND), & Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Certificates were distributed to high achievers to their joy and jubilation accompanied by a sense of pride by their parents and loved ones.
