The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC), National Department for Culture and Arts, and the International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA) will be co-hosting the 8th World Summit on Arts and Culture Kuala Lumpur 2019 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 11 to 14 March 2019.
2. The World Summit opening ceremony will be held in the Perdana Botanical Gardens on Monday, 11 March 2019, followed by three days of key note speeches, panel discussions, participatory sessions and workshops that explore the theme Mobile Minds: Culture, Knowledge and Change.
3. The Summit will bring together leading policy makers, researchers, managers and practitioners from the international arts and culture community to address how governments, cultural organizations, creative practitioners, and citizens can and do work together to actively lead change in times marked by profound and ongoing transformation.
