A PRESENTATION ON THE CONSTRUCTION WORK OF THE HIGH COMMISSION

OF MALAYSIA COMPLEXES IN ISLAMABAD ON 19 AUGUST 2009

 

 

On Wednesday, 19 August 2009 at 11:00 a.m., HIS EXCELLENCY AMBASSADOR AHMAD SHAHIZAN ABD SAMAD, High Commissioner of Malaysia chaired a presentation on the construction of the complexes of the High Commission of Malaysia in the Diplomatic Enclave in Islamabad. HAJI ISMAIL ARIS of the Expertise International A & I Private Limited in Islamabad and his counterpart ENCIK ZAABA YUSOF, Project Director, IBSUL Holding, Malaysia gave the presentation on the construction of the complexes of the High Commission. The others presence were the Home-Based Staff (HBS) of the High Commission.


The main purpose of the presentation was to share views with the HBS on the designs of the chancery, official residence, HBS apartments and also the schedule and progress of the construction works at the two sites. After HAJI ISMAIL ARIS overview introduction, ENCIK ZAABA YUSOF gave a brief presentation and highlighted the construction process of the complexes of the High Commission. The project is scheduled to be completed in October 2011, followed by a two-year liability period until end of 2014.

 

Immediately after the presentation, there was a Q&A session that had among others emphasized on the aspects of security, back-up facilities and logistics, landscaping, and so forth.
