On Friday, 26 January 2024, the Chairman of the PERWAKILAN Islamabad, Madam Amelia Amani Lee Abdullah hosted an Appreciation Night Ceremony in Nazara Hall, Serena Hotel Islamabad.
The event was attended by all members of the PERWAKILAN and their family members. This event aimed to appreciate the services and contributions of the PERWAKILAN members who have worked hard to make all the activities of PERWAKILAN Islamabad successful for the year 2023.
The event commenced with the recitation of doa by Mr. Hamidon Md Naroh, followed by a speech from PERWAKILAN Islamabad's Advisor, His Excellency Ambassador Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, and the speech by the Chairperson of the PERWAKILAN Islamabad. The program continued with the presentation of Certificates of Appreciation and gifts distributed to all members of the PERWAKILAN Islamabad before the dinner started. The ceremony was further enlivened with the 'Guess Me' game between the men's and women's teams and the announcement of the 'King and Queen of the Night' where the winners were Mr. Mohd Syafik Firdaus Hasbullah and Mrs. Nik Nor Athirah Nik Amran.
The highlight of the event on the night was the appreciation from the PERWAKILAN members to Madam Amelia with a bouquet of roses and a special gift as a memento. At the end of the ceremony, in addition to being interspersed with photo sessions, all attendees spontaneously Poco-Poco dance.
It is hoped that initiative like this will be a firebrand and a motivational trigger for all the members of the PERWAKILAN Islamabad so that they can succeed in the activities of the PERWAKILAN Islamabad with the spirit of identity, camaraderie and teamwork in order to raise the image of Malaysia in Pakistan.
