On Friday, 21 February 2025, His Excellency Ambassador Dato' Azhar Mazlan attended the ASEAN Committee in Islamabad (ACI) meeting, chaired by His Excellency Mr. Wunna Han, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Chair of the ACI, at Myanmar House. This was the first meeting chaired by Myanmar as the Chairman of ACI. The meeting was attended by ASEAN Heads of Mission/Chargé d'Affaires from Indonesia, along with officials from the ACI working group.
In his opening remarks, H.E. Mr. Wunna Han welcomed the ASEAN Heads of Mission. During the meeting, the Minutes of the ACI HOM Meeting No. 01/2025 were reviewed and approved. The agenda included discussions on the ACI Economic Visit to the Gujrat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, updates on the ACI visits to the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) and the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI), as well as the ACI yearly activity calendar. The meeting concluded with a luncheon.
