On 6 January 2025, His Excellency Ambassador Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, visited the Embassy of the United States of America in Islamabad to offer condolences on the passing of former President Jimmy Carter.
During the visit, the High Commissioner conveyed heartfelt sympathies on behalf of the Government and people of Malaysia to the Government and people of the United States of America, as well as to the family of the late President.
President Jimmy Carter's legacy as the 39th President of the United States (1977-1981) and his lifelong dedication to peace, humanitarian work, and justice through The Carter Center will forever be remembered.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the American people and the loved ones of the late President during this time of mourning.
