CONDOLENCE BOOK SIGNING ON THE DEMISE OF FORMER VICE PRESIDENT OF YEMEN

On 20 January 2026, His Excellency Amb. Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, visited the Embassy of Yemen in Islamabad to sign the Condolence Book on behalf of the Government of Malaysia following the passing of Ali Salem al-Beidh, former Vice President of the Republic of Yemen. 

Ali Salem al-Beidh was a prominent Yemeni political leader who served as Vice President of Yemen after unification and played a significant role in the country’s modern political history. 

The High Commissioner of Malaysia extends his deepest sympathies to the family of the late Ali Salem al-Beidh, the Government of Yemen, and the people of Yemen during this period of profound loss.

Malaysia stands in solidarity with Yemen in honoring the memory of a leader whose service and dedication contributed to his nation.
