On Friday, 14 June 2024, Amb. Dato' Azhar Mazlan received a courtesy call from Mr. Haroosn Naseer, Chief Executive Office (CEO), Maroof International Hospital, Islamabad. Mr. Haroosn Naseer was accompanied by Ms. Rubina Afzal, Head of Maroof International Hospital and Dr. Mir Abdul Waheed, Medical Director of hospital at the High Commission. Dato' Azhar was accompanied by Mr. Mohd Syafik, Counsellor of the High Commission.
The team of the hospital briefed Amb. Dato' Azhar about the comprehensive services provided by Maroof International Hospital to its clients and the initiatives to promote medical tourism. The team also stressed the need for strengthening people-to-people exchanges between Malaysia and Pakistan and offered to organise free health awareness sessions for the Malaysian staff in Islamabad. Other matters discussed were to enhance bilateral relations and provide top-tier healthcare services.
In his remarks, Amb. Dato' Azhar thanked the CEO and his team for briefing session and expressed his desire for close cooperation between the hospital and the High Commission in the future.
