COURTESY CALL BY AMBASSADOR OF INDONESIA AT CHANCERY ON 2 MARCH 2009 On Monday 2 March 2009, HIS EXCELLENCY AMBASSADOR AHMAD SHAHIZAN ABD SAMAD, High Commissioner of Malaysia had a meeting with HIS EXCELLENCY ISHAK LATUCONSINA, new Ambassador of the Embassy of Indonesia at the High Commission of Malaysia.
During the meeting, HIS EXCELLENCY AMBASSADOR AHMAD SHAHIZAN ABD SAMAD welcomed HIS EXCELLENCY ISHAK LATUCONSINA to Pakistan and shared his last two years experience in professional and social activities. Being a Chairman of ASEAN Islamabad Committee (AIC), AMBASSADOR AHMAD SHAHIZAN took the opportunity to share his vision to promote bilateral relations between Malaysia and Indonesia and discussed the issues on ASEAN matters through ASEAN Islamabad Committee (AIC).
The High Commissioner also shared with him the programmes and activities of 2009 in Pakistan and hope to get support from Indonesia in terms of its facilities in the diplomatic Enclave. Among others they also discussed on bilateral trade and social matter with Pakistan, education system and accreditation of curriculum and qualification, and also the current political situation in Pakistan.
