On Tuesday, 12 November 2024, His Excellency Dr. Irfan Neziroglu, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye, paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Ambassador Dato' Azhar Mazlan at the High Commission in Islamabad. Ambassador Dato' Azhar extended a warm welcome to Dr. Neziroglu and congratulated him on presenting his Letters of Credence to the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
During the meeting, the two ambassadors exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, including enhancing bilateral relations and fostering stronger ties within the diplomatic community in Islamabad.
Additionally, the ambassadors discussed opportunities for trilateral collaboration among Malaysia, Turkiye, and Pakistan. They agreed to explore initiatives that could leverage the unique strengths of the three nations, promoting regional stability and prosperity.
