On Friday, 22 September 2023, Ambassador Azhar Mazlan received a courtesy call by Mrs. Noremi Binti Md Shaari and Mr. Hardy Bin Baba, representatives from Bestinet Sdn Bhd, Malaysia, at the High Commission. The company is a private entity endorsed by Malaysian government to manage intake of foreign workers. As its flagship application, the Bestinet utilises the Foreign Workers Centralized Management System (FWCMS) to handle both employer and employee from the quota, application, medical examination, visa with reference and arrival of foreign workers.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and provide a comprehensive briefing to the High Commission on the implementation of the annual audit for all medical centers in Pakistan that carry out health checks for potential Pakistani foreign workers to Malaysia under the Bio-Medical System (BMS) under FWCMS module. The meeting served as an opportunity for both sides to engage and discussed on matters of significance between Malaysia and Pakistan, with particular focus on foreign workers.
