On Monday, 17 July 2023, Ambassador Azhar received a courtesy call from Mr. Abdul Rahman Mohamed Rejab, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Destini Berhad, Malaysia. The primary purpose of the meeting was to provide a comprehensive briefing on the company's operation in Pakistan.
During the meeting, the CEO formally conveyed to Ambassador Azhar their decision to cease operation in Pakistan. Ambassador Azhar expressed his appreciation for the operational services provided by Destini Berhad in Pakistan. He assured the delegation that the High Commission is committed to extending full cooperation and support to the Malaysian company.
